Fairmont cocktail culture is a historical part of the classic Fairmont experience. To honour their award-winning bartenders and pay homage to days of speakeasies, Fairmont launched their Classic Cocktails program. They wanted to showcase the heritage, care, dedication and expertise that go into Fairmont’s one-of-a-kind guest experience. To celebrate the historical importance of the classic cocktail program, the brand sought out to create a timeless, lasting content experience that would resonate warmly with customers - just like their cocktails.
The project called for a series of videos and still imagery - including a short event launch video, a social teaser, and a behind the scenes personality video that followed three bartenders through streets of London late at night to illustrate their inspirational stories.
The photography series focused Kentucky’s famed Bourbon Belt and featured the input and ideation of Fairmont’s award-winning bartenders. The content helped launch the global Classic Cocktails Program from the Fairmont Savoy in London.
The video series was well received and found wide distribution across many brand touch points, including in-room display, social media and various onsite channels. The elegant Fairmont grey wash aesthetic and speakeasy style helped consumers embrace the throwback to this glorious cocktail era. The content raised awareness and great interest in the program and helped re-imagine Fairmont’s classic cocktails while highlighting the achievements of Fairmont’s award-winning bartenders.
