INTEGRATION OPTIONS

VRX Hotel Content can be integrated into web sites by using a combination of integration options: Quick Integration, which allows a hotel to quickly and efficiently add a complete, one-page, visual description of their property, and Recommended Integration, which allows a hotel webmaster to enhance existing hotel web site content with VRX content.

Quick Integration
Quick Integration displays on one page all Maps, Virtual Tours and Still Images that visually describe a hotel. This integration option is appealing to hotels who want to showcase photographs on one page only, or hotels that have minimal time or webmaster resources.

A hotel web site visitor need only click one link to display all VRX content that describes that hotel property. To see an example of Quick Integration, visit the web site of the Melrose Hotel in Washington DC and click on Virtual Tours from the home page.

Recommended Integration
Recommended Integration enables a hotel to integrate each VRX Virtual Tour, Still Image, and Map separately throughout a hotel web site, to enhance existing text for each hotel. Of course, Recommended Integration can also be combined with Quick Integration if the hotel so desires.

Recommended Integration uses hyperlinks, icons, and thumbnails. These three options, and combinations of options, allow VRX clients to incorporate VRX virtual tours, while maintaining the integrity of the layout and design of their web sites.

The following paragraphs offer explanations and examples of how each format can be used to incorporate virtual tours and interactive maps into your web site.

Hyperlink Format

Sutton Place Hotel, Vancouver

A hyperlink is a highlighted text caption that links your web site visitors to a virtual tour of an attraction. Examples are provided below. The hyperlink format is ideal for web sites that are short on space. The hyperlink format is also used by web sites that list several attractions within the same paragraph.

To use the hyperlink format in your web site, simply use the code that we send to you as the hyperlink for specific words or attractions listed on your page.

Icon Format

 Interactive Maps

Virtual tours can also be linked to a web site using an icon. This is a convenient format when a web site page is short on space, or on pages that feature many virtual tours.

You can use the icon that is provided by VRX Studios, or you can create and use your own.

 Virtual Tours

 Stills

Thumbnail Format

VRX Studios offers small static images, called Thumbnails, in three sizes: small, standard and full. These thumbnails can be linked to a virtual tour, and are easy to integrate with any web image.

Small: 150 pixels x 112 pixels

Medium: 200 pixels x 150 pixels

Large: 263 pixels x 197 pixels
