INTEGRATION OPTIONS
|
|
Integrating VRX's Cruise Content into a website is simple and quick. The
easiest and fasted option is Quick Integration, which adds a new page to a site
that includes all the Content from one ship. Custom Integration enables the
integration of individual images and maps into existing pages of a site. This
integration option enables existing site content to be complemented by VRX's
Cruise Content. The third and most effective integration option is a
combination of the Quick Integration and Custom Integration options.
Quick Integration
Quick Integration enables you to integrate one page for each ship into your
website(s) that displays all the Virtual Tours and Interactive Maps that VRX
has created of each ships amenities, facilities, and room types. This
integration option is appealing to those who want to quickly integrate VRX's
Content with the least amount of work.
With this option, a website visitor need only click one link to display all the
VRX Content for each ship.
Custom Integration
Custom Integration enables you to integrate each Virtual Tour and Interactive
Map separately throughout your web site(s). This option helps to enhance
existing content and places all relative content at the fingertips of site
visitors.
Custom Integration allows you to employ hyperlinks,
icons, and thumbnails to link to individual
Virtual Tours or Interactive Maps. This flexibility allows our clients to be as
creative as they wish.
To see a live example of VRX's Custom Integration solution, visit Carnival Cruise Lines' web site and click on Virtual
Ship Tour for any of their ships.
The most effective integration option is combining both the Quick
Integration and the Custom Integration options. This meets the needs and
viewing patterns of the majority of site visitors.
The following paragraphs offer explanations and examples of how each linking
format can be used to incorporate Virtual Tours and Interactive Maps into your
web site.

A hyperlink is a highlighted text caption that links your web
site visitors to a Virtual Tour of an attraction. Examples are provided below.
The hyperlink format is ideal for web sites that are short on space. The
hyperlink format is also used by web sites that list several attractions within
the same paragraph.
To use the hyperlink format in your web site, simply use the
code that we send to you as a hyperlink for specific words or attractions
listed on your page.

Virtual Tours can also be linked to a web site
using an icon. This is a convenient format when a web site page is short on
space, or on pages that feature many Virtual Tours.
You can use the icon that is provided by VRX Studios, or you
can create and use your own.
