Flex Developer

As a member of our technical team, the Flex Developer will work closely with other software developers and the production team. On a daily basis your primary focus will be designing and implementing web pages, components, modules and web applications for various projects.

This opportunity is perfect for photographers who have studied architectural photography and are wishing to gain extensive hands-on-experience or for freelance architectural photographers that are looking to compliment an existing portfolio of clients.

Skills Required:

• Adobe Flex
• Action Script 3
• Flash CS3/CS4
• Flex XML and REST Web Services
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
• Very strong UI experience

Nice to Have Skills:

• Adobe Air experience
• Knowledge of HTTP and TCP protocols, as well as HTML, Javascript and CSS
• Experience in Flex MVC frameworks such as Cairngorm or Mate
• C# and .Net Experience
• Digital media/streaming project experience
• Experience with Web Analytics
• Working knowledge of encryption and security protocols

Responsibilities:

• Continue product development work on the next generation VRX Presentation Platform
• Work with technical and creative contacts from clients to deliver the expected implementation
• Customize applications to match client presentation/UI requirements
• Manage and update the VRX Presentation database
• Prepare integration codes and documentation
• Perform technical research as needed
• Create status reports on projects assigned
• Upholding VRX's Core Values and Core Purpose
• Prioritize tasks to address concurrent project assignments
